Family Service Advocate Meeting
Recruiting and retaining qualified teachers, family child care providers, and home visitors is essential to delivering high-quality Head Start services. In line with Performance Standard 1302.92, programs should implement systematic professional development tied to academic credit to sharpen staff skills. Cultivating a pipeline through parent and community training is especially effective—former parents already make up over 20% of staff and represent an invaluable asset.
