Lights, Camera, Innovation: Redefining Research with Google Vids
Google Vids is available to all Google users with endless creative options that incorporate AI-generated content, scripting, transcribing, and editing features that will have you producing your own videos in no time! We will use the first half to explore basic functions and skills and the second half exploring student-directed projects to use in the classroom.
Elevate student voice and transform traditional research into professional-grade digital products! In this 3-hour session, educators will explore Google Vids to facilitate advanced, sophisticated student performances for a variety of projects that include research, storytelling, marketing, and more. Teachers will learn to move learners beyond basic slide decks toward professional-level synthesis and creative expression, aligning with the Texas State Plan’s goal of producing advanced products for outside audiences.
Be sure to bring a device with a camera and microphone or borrow one of our Chromebooks.
