Formula for Success: Data, Depth, and Science Testing Strategies
This session provides a comprehensive breakdown of the Science STAAR framework, focusing on how the TEA Scale Scores and Performance Level Descriptors translate to classroom results. Educators will decode the technical mechanics of the TEA Scale Scores and Performance Level Descriptors to understand how questions and interactive items are weighted. By analyzing current district and regional science data, we will identify "High-Yield TEKS" and practice specific classroom strategies that build student stamina. You will leave with an actionable plan to transition students from basic content recall to the evidence-based reasoning required to master the upcoming science assessments.
