Fun with the Facts and Fiction of Frontier Life in West Texas
This one-day, hands-on workshop invites educators to explore the facts and fiction of frontier life in West Texas through immersive experiences at Buffalo Gap Historic Village and Frontier Texas! Participants will engage in place-based learning, collaborate with fellow teachers, and gain TEKS-aligned, ready-to-use strategies to enhance classroom instruction. The session also provides practical guidance for planning meaningful and engaging student field trips. Educators will leave equipped with resources and ideas to bring history to life for their students.
Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Lunch will be provided!
