Online Book Study: Gifted and Distractible
Do you have students who are gifted yet struggle with behavior, focus, organization, or big emotions? These "twice-exceptional" learners are often our biggest mystery. Join our book study on Gifted and Distractible by Julie Skolnick to understand the "why" behind their behavior. We'll explore strength-based strategies to help these complex students thrive in your classroom. After an initial virtual kick off meeting, we will read each chapter and spend time responding to reflection questions via a Google Classroom. At the end we will meet one more time to discuss our learning. Let's get to reading!
Special instructions
We will kick the book study off with a virtual meeting on Monday, August 3rd at 3:30 P.M. and end with a Zoom on August 31st at 3:30 P.M. If you register by July 3rd we will provide a copy of the book.
