Math in Motion: Bringing Concepts to Life with Manipulatives (6th and 7th Grade)
Unlock the power of hands-on learning in your 6th and 7th-grade math classrooms! In this session, teachers will explore how to effectively use manipulatives to build deep conceptual understanding and boost student engagement. Examples include: Exploring ratios with fraction tiles, mastering integer operations with two-color counters, and visualizing algebra with algebra tiles, and many more! You’ll leave with practical strategies, ready-to-use ideas, and the confidence to make math tangible for every learner.
