Press Start: The Hardware & Heart of Big Country Esports
In the Big Country, we’re turning screen time into scholarship time—and this session is your official "Day Zero" playbook. Whether you are starting with a single Nintendo Switch in a spare classroom or building a dedicated PC lab from the ground up, this 3-hour intensive is designed to get your program off the sidelines.
The Blueprint: Join a panel of local Big Country coaches who have successfully navigated the hurdles of starting rural programs. They’ll share their "Starter Kits" for academic eligibility (No Pass, No Play), securing administrative buy-in, and building a team culture that rivals Friday Night Lights.
The Power: To ensure your program has the horsepower to compete, the experts at Gravity Gaming will join us to demystify the hardware—showing you exactly what you need (and what you don't) to build a lab on a rural school budget, what to tell your IT Director about network security, and how to avoid the common tech pitfalls that crash game day.
