C-SEP 2.0 Responsible and Efficient Testing Practices
Join us for a two day workshop with Dr. Schultz
Day 1: Foundations for Responsible SLD Evaluation
Focus on advanced test selection and using norm-referenced assessments as tools for understanding learning rather than just determining eligibility. Participants will explore CHC model updates and use task demand and contextual analysis to improve diagnostic precision. Learn to move beyond large test batteries toward purposeful choices that strengthen ecological validity.
Day 2: Integrating Data for Clear Decisions
Learn to synthesize historical, formative, and formal testing data to create a preponderance of evidence for SLD eligibility. This session emphasizes integrated data analysis over formula-driven decisions, focusing on deconstructing constructs to link assessment results to classroom performance. Practice moving from construct-level analysis to instructionally relevant interpretations through extended case studies.
