Chemistry: Advanced Pedagogical Strategies for High School
This Chemistry Professional Development will offer educators a rigorous exploration of fundamental chemical principles, including atomic structure, molecular bonding, stoichiometry, and thermodynamics. The curriculum further extends into the dynamics of aqueous systems, acid-base equilibrium, and the mechanics of chemical kinetics. Participants will engage with TEKS-aligned laboratory practicums and technical demonstrations engineered to bridge the gap between abstract theory and observable phenomena. This workshop is designed to equip educators with the tools necessary to cultivate critical inquiry and scientific literacy in their students, enabling them to analyze the intersection of chemistry with contemporary environmental, technological, and societal challenges.
