Autism Foundations Workshop: A Neuro-Affirming Guide to Classroom Success
Join Amber Davies for a comprehensive "Autism 101" deep dive designed to transform how we support neurodivergent learners. Moving beyond basic awareness, this workshop explores the Neurodiversity Paradigm—viewing autism as a natural human variation rather than a deficit to be "fixed."

We will go "under the hood" of the autistic internal operating system to understand the reasoning behind the responding. By exploring the nuances of Executive Functioning, sensory profiles, and the Double Empathy Problem, participants will learn to deconstruct common myths and replace traditional compliance-based tactics with true connection. Whether you are looking to better understand "spiky" skill profiles or seeking practical environmental modifications, this session provides a foundational roadmap for creating a classroom where autonomy is respected and belonging is the default.
