SURVIVOR! UNSTUCK: Strategies for Breaking the Behavior Loop
Ever feel like your classroom has turned into a high-stakes game of "The Floor is Lava"—except the lava is a power struggle and you’re fresh out of jumps? We’ve all been there: the repeating loop of "Please sit down," "No," "Please sit down," "Make me." It’s exhausting, it’s loud, and frankly, it’s a vibe-killer. But what if you could "reset" the day like a rom-com protagonist? What if you had a magic toolkit to calm the chaos without losing your cool (or your sense of humor)? Grab your coffee and let’s get UNSTUCK.
This is a 6-hour "edu-vacation" for your brain. This isn't a dry lecture full of buzzwords; it’s a practical, high-energy day designed to help you handle "big behaviors" with a "big heart."
Using the "50 1st Dates" philosophy (the art of a total reset!) and easy-to-digest Trauma-Informed Tools, we’re going to explore why students' brains go "sideways" and how we can help them return to the "thinking brain."
