Building Resilience Together: Trauma-Informed Practices for Early Childhood
This training equips early childhood educators with practical, relationship-based strategies to support young children who have experienced trauma. Participants will explore how trauma impacts brain development, behavior, and learning in children with diverse abilities, and learn to create classroom environments that promote safety, connection, and healing. Through hands-on activities and real-world scenarios, educators will develop tools for co-regulation, trauma-sensitive behavior support, and culturally responsive practices that honor each child's dignity while addressing their unique developmental and learning needs.
