22nd Annual Autism Extravaganza
The 22nd Annual Autism Extravaganza brings together families and community members to celebrate autistic individuals in the Region 14 area. Our guest speaker is Meg Ferrell, OT: Strengths-Based Practices in Action: Supporting Your Autistic Clients to Learn, Play & Thrive.
In this live, in-person course, you’ll learn how to support the deepest well-being of your Autistic clients.You’ll learn how to confidently create strengths-based treatment plans using strategies that are already in your tool bag. It’s all about understanding authentic well-being for your Autistic clients and shaping your interventions to reflect respect for their strengths and how they think and learn. You’ll develop strengths-based support plans you can apply in your practice right away.
Special instructions
This event will be held in the Hunter Welcome Center on the campus of Abilene Christian University. A community resource fair will open at 8:30am and close at 4pm. PROGRAM begins at 9am. Lunch will be on your own.
Pending continuing education credit by the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (TSHA) and AOTA.
Entire event is FREE for all including community members.

A confirmation email will be sent once the purchase order is processed (generally within 4 business hours), and you will be able to complete your registration.
An invoice will be issued after the session is completed.
