Adult, Child, Infant CPR/AED/First Aid for Head Start Staff
The purpose of the First Aid/CPR/AED courses is to prepare Head Start and Early Head Start staff to recognize and respond effectively to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. The course will teach participants how to provide immediate care to an infant, child, or adult who becomes suddenly ill or injured, until medical professionals arrive and take over.
This training is in compliance with Head Start Performance Standard: 1302.47(b)(4)(J).
Training will also review Active Supervision, Standards of Conduct, and the Head Start Performance Standards.
Special instructions
This course will be a half day training. No breakfast or lunch will be served.
