Comprehensive LPAC/Title III Training
The Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) provides clarification of legal requirements pertaining to state and federal laws 19 TAC Chapter 89 subsection BB of the Commissioner's Rules Concerning State Plan for Educating Emergent Bilingual students. The purpose of this session is to equip district/school personnel and build capacity in order to meet the needs of Emergent Bilingual students. This (TOT) training is designed to guide special program staff through the LPAC Framework process: Introduction, Identification, Placement, English Learner Services, Review & Reclassification, Monitoring & Evaluation. This training mirrors the LPAC Framework released by Texas Education Agency's Division of Emergent Bilingual Support.
