Fentanyl Awareness and Emergency Response Training for School Staff
This training program addresses state requirements for the administration of opioid antagonists and equips school staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and respond to fentanyl contamination and opioid overdoses within the school setting. Participants will gain an understanding of the dangers associated with fentanyl exposure, how to identify the signs of opioid overdose, and the proper procedures for administering Narcan (naloxone) safely. Through interactive scenarios and hands-on demonstrations, staff will build confidence in managing potential emergencies, thereby ensuring the health and safety of both students and staff. This course is designed to empower educators, administrators, and support personnel with life-saving information and procedures that are essential in today’s educational environments.
