School Behavioral Threat Assessment
School Behavioral Threat Assessment is a framework for supporting students that provides a proactive, evidence-based approach for identifying individuals who may pose a threat to schools. SBTA provides a roadmap for supportive intervention before a violent incident occurs. If your campus or district needs to form an SBTA team or to train new staff members to join your district teams, please register for this workshop.

TEC 37.115 requires that all Texas districts establish a Safe and Supportive School Program (SSSP) team to serve each campus in the district. All SBTA team members must complete a one-day training offered by TxSSC-certified presenters at a regional Education Service Center or through the Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC).
Special instructions
Please bring an electronic device for select learning activities during the workshop.
