Family Service Credentialing
Family Service Workers (FSW's) will identify personal values and beliefs that may impact their work with families and acquire strategies for dealing with situations in which the families may differ from their own. Build awareness of elements of a family system and how changes to the family may impact how the family system operates. Participants will develop a heightened awareness of their personal communication , strengths and areas of growth. FSWs will practice strategies for maintaining professional boundaries with families. Practice reflective strategies to deal with challenging situations in a strength-based ecological way.
