Empowering Safety: Region 14's Safety Summit
We invite school and community leaders to participate in an important Safety Summit hosted by Region 14 Education Service Center. This event is a unique opportunity to come together and tackle critical issues affecting safety in our schools. Stacy Carter, TEA's School Safety Agent, will discuss the importance of conducting District Vulnerability Audits across the Panhandle Sector, including the Big Country. She will share her expertise on several essential topics:
District Vulnerability Assessments (DVAs)
Intruder Detection Audits (IDAs)
Behavior Threat Assessments
Safety and Security Committees
Facility Standards
Special instructions
This half-day summit will take place in the afternoon, following a morning Cybersecurity session led by the Texas School Safety Center. Here is the link for the AM Cybersecurity Training:
