Youth Mental Health First Aid
This national training, that meets several state requirements, will look at the most common mental health issues that students go through including: depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicide. It is interactive and requires empathy and participation. People who have recently experienced trauma and/or suicide may consider taking this training at a later time. National requirements are that participants must attend the whole session, pass a test, and complete an evaluation to receive credit. This is a state-funded training requirement.

PITStop registration will close 5 days prior to the training date to allow participants time to complete their NATIONAL registration requirements and allow Region 14 Instructors the ability to finalize the course enrollment process.
Special instructions
To attend, you MUST complete all registration requirements for Region 14 and the National Council prior to training day. Requirements will be emailed a week prior to the class date. **Region 14 Instructors cannot make exceptions according to the National Guidelines.**
