Mathematical Reasoning through Productive Struggle
This workshop takes a deep dive into productive struggle. The workshop will align with the publication Taking Action: Implementing Effective Mathematics Teaching Practices. In addition, participants will learn strategies to take action in the classroom using the research-based Mathematics Teaching Practices outlined in NCTM’s publication Principles to Actions. It develops an understanding of productive struggle through the lens of mathematics.
