Make & Take - Adapted book for Secondary students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities
The purpose of this training is to give teachers of students with significant cognitive disabilities the information and tools needed to provide meaningful literacy instruction and experiences.
-align TEKS with Essence Statements
-set up stations
-provide engaging activities for hands on learning
Participants will create an adaptive book and hands on learning materials for stations.
Special instructions
Bring your creative personality and be ready to have fun and learn! You might want to watch or read the story, " Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library."
