Autism Extravaganza
Join us for a day of autism awareness and education! This conference will provide families, educators, and the community with strategies, resources, tools, and evidence-based practices in the education of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.Our speaker for this year’s event will be Anthony Ianni. Anthony was the first known athlete with Autism to play Big Ten basketball. Anthony played for legendary coach Tom Izzo while at MSU. He won two Big Ten Championships, a Big Ten Tournament Title, was the recipient of the 2011 Tim Bograkos Walk On Award and the 2012 Unsung Player Award, and was also a member of the 2010 Final Four team. He currently works for the Michigan Department of Civil Rights and presents his anti-bullying campaign all over the country.
Special instructions
This training will be held at the Hunter Welcome Center on the campus of Abilene Christian University and is free to the public. We will break for lunch ON YOUR OWN from 11:30-1:00 pm.
