Interpretation and Storytelling
The Grace Museum is thrilled to offer a two-day FREE multi-disciplinary workshop with support from Humanities Texas and the National Endowment for the Humanities. This workshop will feature artist Terry Hays, and his current exhibition Cosmic Gardens, as well as ACU professors Drs. Kelly and Jeremy Elliott.

Day one artist Terry Hays will feature historical, cultural and contemporary iconography integrations with hands-on art making. He will discuss work that brings together historic cultural influences. There is NO art ability needed.

Day two Drs. Kelly and Jeremy Elliott will guide us through historical context to the artwork and a larger worldview to forge connections across cultures. The day will end by creating handmade journals and elements of narrative and historical art interpretive writing.

Our partners are covering the $50 registration fee making the class free to you.
