Day 4 of 30 Hour GT Training - Creative/Critical Thinking
This is the fourth of five pieces of training that comprise the 30 hours of G/T training required of teachers that are responsible for providing services to gifted learners. Although not every district specifically provides services for the creatively gifted, it is important to understand that creative and critical thinking patterns become a unique characteristic of gifted learners. Participants will also look at advanced level projects and how the Texas Performance Standards Projects can be used to develop advanced projects.

This is a self-paced seven-day course that must be started by the fourth day of class and completed by the seventh. (July 1-7) Instructions on getting started will be sent from the course facilitator, Phyllis Baum.
Special instructions
If it has been more than five years since you have taken the 30-hour training, then you may count this as a six-hour update.
