CACFP Food Buying Guide
Participants examine and identify the contents of the Food Buying Guide for Child Nutrition Programs. Participants practice calculating the right amount of food to purchase and prepare for the number of servings needed by applying math skills and using yield data for creditable food items.
Special instructions
This class does not cover the Food Buying Guide for School Meal Programs.
A suggested prerequisite for this class is CACFP Kitchen Math.
