Age-Appropriate Transition Assessments
Federal law requires "appropriate measurable postsecondary goals based on age-appropriate assessments related to training, education, employment, and, where appropriate, independent living skills." (300.320 (b)(1)). Participants will review a variety of transition assessments, formal and informal, to help determine a student's interests, preferences, strengths, and needs.
