TEA CTE Counselor Training
Counselor Training modules have been develop to support counselors in Career and Technical Education.These modules will include information and resources to examine how strong CTE programs can support all students as they prepare for postsecondary success. Participants will identify potential barriers that limit access to CTE programs and review advising strategies to ensure accessible and equitqable CTE programs. This is a convening of Regions 9, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18.
Special instructions
Optional Training-Counselors are also invited to attend the first day of administrator training. This training will be offered at Region 14 ESC South campus located at 4300 S. Treadaway, Abilene, TX 79601. If you plan to attend the first day of the administrator training, please contact Vicki Hayhurst at 325-675-8669.
